View Complete Article 1. Selection Components & Weightage
Admission isn't just about the written test. Your score is a composite of four distinct areas:
Written Test (NSUEE): 100 Marks (MCQ Based)
Physical Fitness: 20 - 40 Marks (Field Tests)
Game Proficiency: 30 - 50 Marks (Skill Test)
Sports Achievement: 30 Marks (Certificates)
Must Know: Qualifying the Physical Fitness Test is MANDATORY. If you fail this, your written marks won't matter.
2. Physical Fitness Test (PFT) Battery
The university typically uses the International Physical Fitness Test protocol:
- 50m Sprint: To test explosive speed and acceleration.
- Standing Broad Jump: To measure lower body explosive power.
- Overhead Back Throw: To test upper body/core strength.
- 1000m Run/Walk: To evaluate cardiovascular endurance.
