TS EAMCET (TG EAPCET, engineering) is a 3-hour CBT of 160 questions for 160 marks — Mathematics (80), Physics (40), Chemistry (40) — one mark per correct answer and no negative marking. General/OBC must score at least 25% (40/160) to qualify. The 2024 rank used 75% EAMCET + 25% Class-12 (Inter) marks; the 25% IPE weightage was discontinued from 2025.
In TS EAMCET, your All India Rank is decided by your marks relative to everyone else, so the marks needed for a given rank move every year with paper difficulty. At the top of the scale a few extra marks can be worth thousands of ranks, while lower down the curve flattens. For 2024 the final rank combined 75% of the entrance score with 25% of Class-12 (Inter) group-subject marks. From 2025 the 25% IPE weightage was scrapped, after which rank is based on the entrance score alone. Use the year-wise tables below to compare your target marks against the closest matching cycle rather than a single fixed chart.
Here is the year-wise TS EAMCET trend so you can compare your target against the closest recent cycle. Table is on TS EAMCET / TG EAPCET entrance-test marks (out of 160, Engineering).
