2. Step-by-Step Application Process
STEP 01: Initial Registration
Create an account on the NTA portal using your Aadhaar number or Digilocker. You will receive a unique Application ID via SMS.

Choose the Central Universities you wish to apply to. Ensure you check the specific Domain Subject requirements for each course.

Upload your photograph (80% face visible) and signature. If applicable, upload your Category Certificate in PDF format.

3. Eligibility Requirements
While the NTA sets a general framework, individual universities may have additional criteria. Always verify with the university's specific brochure.
- Minimum Education: Passed or appearing in Class 12 (10+2) from a recognized board.
- Minimum Marks: Usually 50% aggregate for General and 45% for Reserved categories.
- Age Limit: No upper age limit for the entrance exam, but universities may have their own age policies.

The exam is a Computer-Based Test (CBT) divided into three distinct sections. You must choose subjects based on the course you intend to pursue.
