GATE 2027 has not been officially notified yet. All these dates remain tentative.
KollegeApply — GATE 2027 Notification Update (29 June 2026)IIT Guwahati declared the GATE 2026 result on 19 March 2026 with paper-wise qualifying marks. Instrumentation Engineering (IN) was one of the tougher cut-offs at 39.8 marks for General, 35.8 for OBC-NCL/EWS and 26.5 for SC/ST/PwD, so GATE 2027 aspirants should target well above 40.
GATE 2026, IIT Guwahati — Official Cut-offNo syllabus change has been announced for GATE 2027, so the GATE 2026 IN syllabus stays the working reference. The paper is a three-hour computer-based test of 100 marks: General Aptitude 15, Engineering Mathematics 13 and core Instrumentation topics 72, using MCQ, MSQ and NAT questions with negative marking only on MCQs.
GATE 2026, IIT Guwahati — Question Paper PatternInstrumentation is an accepted discipline for PSU hiring through GATE. NPCIL confirmed it uses GATE 2026 scores for Instrumentation (IN) among other branches and advertised 330 Executive Trainee posts with applications from 10 to 30 April 2026; over 30 PSUs including NTPC, ONGC and IOCL shortlist candidates on GATE scores.
PSUConnect — PSU Recruitment via GATE 2026A GATE score stays valid for three years from the announcement of results, so a GATE 2026 score declared on 19 March 2026 remains usable until March 2029 for M.Tech and PhD admissions and PSU recruitment.
