JoSAA 2026 counselling, which uses JEE Main ranks for NIT, IIIT and GFTI seats, is in its closing stage. The Round 4 seat-acceptance deadline is 5 pm on July 13, 2026, the withdrawal window shuts at 5 pm on July 14, and the final Round 5 allotment follows on July 16.

JoSAA / JEE (Advanced) — Official Announcements

NTA declared the JEE (Main) 2026 Session 2 result and final All India Ranks on April 20, 2026. Scorecards for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) and Paper 2A/2B (B.Arch/B.Planning) remain downloadable from the official JEE Main portal using application number and date of birth.

NTA — JEE Main Score Card (Session 2)

A record 26 candidates scored 100 percentile in the JEE Main 2026 final merit list, up from 12 after Session 1. Aarush Singhal of Chandigarh took All India Rank 1 with a perfect 300 out of 300 in the April Session 2 paper.

CollegeDekho — JEE Main 2026 Toppers List

CSAB 2026 special and supernumerary rounds follow JoSAA for candidates left without a seat. Registration is reported to open on July 28, 2026 and close on August 3, 2026 at csab.nic.in, using the JEE Main 2026 application number. The official CSAB schedule is still pending, so treat these dates as tentative.

NTA has not yet issued any JEE Main 2027 notification, information bulletin or exam date. Based on past cycles the Session 1 bulletin and registration window are expected around October 2026, with the exam in January 2027. Watch the official public notices page rather than unofficial date lists.

Updates as of May 16, 2026

NTA has released the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 result and the official cutoff for JEE Advanced qualification on April 20, 2026 at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The General (UR/CRL) qualifying cutoff stands at 93.4123549 percentile, with category-wise cutoffs published alongside the result.

JEE Main 2026 EWS cutoff is 81.3209571 percentile and OBC-NCL cutoff is 80.9232583 percentile. Candidates clearing the category cutoff are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2026, scheduled on May 17, 2026.

JoSAA 2026 counselling registration opens on June 2, 2026 after JEE Advanced 2026 result declaration. The schedule covers admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs through a unified portal at josaa.nic.in.
