Updates as of July 11, 2026

JNU is currently holding the physical verification of admission and registration for selected PG and ADOP candidates. As per the revised 2026-27 schedule, verification runs on July 9, 10, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17, 2026, so shortlisted candidates must report with original documents on their assigned day.

The second merit list, along with supernumerary seats, was published on July 3, 2026, and pre-enrolment registration, fee payment and seat blocking for that list ran from July 3 to July 5, 2026. The first merit list had been published on June 25 with seat blocking until June 27.

Still to come, as per JNU's tentative schedule: the last and final call for expression of willingness against vacant seats from July 23 to 25, 2026, the final admission list on July 31, seat blocking until August 2, verification on August 6-7, and the admission deadline on August 10, 2026.

JNU - Revised PG & ADOP Admission Schedule 2026-27

On the JNU admission portal, registration for M.Sc. in Biotechnology and M.Sc. in Computational and Integrative Sciences through GAT-B closed on July 9, 2026, with the application correction window open until July 11, 2026. PG, M.Tech/MPH/PGD and ADOP registration closed on June 17.

For undergraduate seats, JNU admits through CUET UG scores; the CUET UG 2026 result was declared on June 23, 2026. The JNU UG application window and first merit list are expected during July-August 2026, so check jnuee.jnu.ac.in rather than relying on unofficial dates.

JNU admissions 2026–27 for UG and PG programmes are routed through CUET (UG/PG) conducted by NTA; final merit lists and counselling rounds are published on jnu.ac.in.
