AIMA has opened registration for the MAT September 2026 cycle. Registration for the Paper Based Test closes on 7 September 2026 and the PBT is held on 13 September 2026. Computer Based Test registration closes on 14 September 2026, with the CBT on 20 September 2026.

Admit cards for the September 2026 cycle are released on 10 September 2026 for PBT and 17 September 2026 for CBT. The fee is Rs 2,300 for a single mode and Rs 4,000 for both PBT and CBT together, with the exam offered across 54 test cities.

MAT keeps its five-section format: 150 questions in 120 minutes across Language Comprehension, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning, Data Analysis and Data Sufficiency, Mathematical Skills, and Economic and Business Environment, at 30 questions per section. Results for the September cycle are expected in the last week of September 2026.

Candidates may sit for both modes in the same cycle and submit their best score to B-schools, since a MAT score stays valid for one year. AIMA runs several MAT cycles annually, so the September window is one of multiple chances in 2026.

AIMA MAT May 2026 session exam dates are May 31, 2026 (Paper-Based Test) and June 14, 2026 (Computer-Based Test). Registration is currently open at mat.aima.in.

MAT May 2026 application fee is ₹2,300 for one exam mode and ₹4,000 for both modes. Registration covers 200+ participating B-schools across 71 test cities including new PBT/CBT centres added this cycle.

MAT scorecards for all sessions and modes are released together about 15-20 days after the test session, uploaded to the candidate dashboard at mat.aima.in.
