UPSC released the NDA and NA Examination (II) 2026 notification on May 20, 2026 for 394 vacancies across the Army, Navy and Air Force wings. Applications closed on June 11, 2026 after an extension from June 9. The written exam is scheduled for September 13, 2026.

The written result of NDA and NA Examination (I) 2026 was declared on May 8, 2026. A total of 7,903 candidates, 7,399 boys and 504 girls, qualified from the April 12, 2026 written exam and moved to the SSB interview stage.

Candidates who cleared NDA 1 2026 must register online on the Indian Army recruitment portal; SSB interview centres and dates are then allotted and communicated to the registered email ID. Interviews are conducted by the Services Selection Boards under the Ministry of Defence.

For NDA 2 2026, the e-admit card is expected on upsc.gov.in around September 6, 2026, roughly a week before the exam. The paper remains offline pen-and-paper, and it is set to be held at 86 centres across the country.
