NITTT 2026: Professional Teacher Training
Phase: Batch-12 Assessment (February 2026)
1. The Training Lifecycle
NITTT is a scheme by AICTE and the Ministry of Education. Every inductee teacher must complete this to move toward higher grades under the Career Advancement Scheme (CAS).
Phase 1: Online training of 8 Modules on the SWAYAM portal.
Phase 2: Mentor-based training within the institution.
Phase 3: One-month Industrial Training.
Assessment: Final Summative Exam conducted by NTA.
2. February 2026 Assessment Details
The NTA conducts the final assessment for teachers who have completed their MOOCs modules.

- Module 3: Communication Skills, Modes & Knowledge Dissemination.
- Module 4: Instructional Planning and Delivery.
- Module 5: Technology Enabled Learning and Life-long Self-learning.
- Module 6: Student Assessment and Evaluation.
- Module 7: Creative Problem Solving, Innovation and Meaningful R&D.
- Module 8: Institutional Management & Administrative Procedures.
